"AFIA" or "Away From It All", is
a lovely secluded villa situated in the southern side
of the Bay of Alcudia in Northern Mallorca, well off
the tourist track. The villa lies between the small
quiet villages of Betlem and Colonia de Sant Pere; the
mountains form a backdrop and the sea is only some 250
yards away.
The villa, which boasts an award winning interior
design layout is on one level, comprises an
exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, fitted with double
sink, fridge/freezer, oven and hob. The lounge/diner
features wide patio doors offering breathtaking views
of the mountains and sea and is comfortably furnished
with a sofa, chairs, large dining table to seat 6 people
and digital satellite TV. The main double bedroom has
an adjoining bathroom and the other two twin rooms share
a shower room with basin and toilet. All three bedrooms
have large fitted wardrobes. There is an electric blanket
and hot water bottle for cool winter nights!
To the rear of the property, which faces South towards
the mountains, is a garden and large patio area and
to the front, with views over the sea, is another patio
area with a splash pool (3.85m x 5.60m x 1m deep)
and impressive purpose built barbecue. Patio furniture,
sun loungers and parasols are provided.
In Betlem, just a few minutes walk from the villa, there
are a couple of restaurants, whilst in the larger village
of Colonia de Sant Pere (5kms/8 minutes by car), there
is a small marina and beach, a few seafront restaurants,
Spar, baker, launderette, car hire, banks and hairdressers.
There are some super quiet, sandy beaches within a few
minutes drive; the beach at Son Serra de Marina (about
15 minutes in car) is particularly lovely.
Car hire is essential and we can arrange
this for you for 138 Euros per week fully inclusive
(170 Euros with air conditioning). You are met at the
airport and taken to the car hire office in Alcudia,
the car is yours for the holiday, after which you return
to the office to be driven back to the airport for your
flight home. We need to know your flight numbers, times
and departure airport for this to be arranged.
