Twin Coves with Clear Waters
Cala Domingos consists of two beautiful sandy beaches: Cala Domingos Grans and Cala Domingos Petits (Cala Tropicana). Both are tucked between pine groves, scrubland, and rocky cliffs, offering a classic Cales de Mallorca landscape. A rocky headland divides the two coves, but they’re easily accessible by foot or by sea. The beaches boast fine white sand, turquoise waters, and a setting that makes them two of the most popular coves in the Manacor region.
Anchoring & Swimming
Anchoring conditions are favourable in both coves:
-
Cala Domingos Petits: Depth of 6 metres at 200m, and 2 metres at 50m, with a sandy bottom.
-
Cala Domingos Grans: Slightly deeper with 3.5 metres at 100m from shore.
Both offer great opportunities for boating and safe swimming, although they can become quite crowded in high season.
Access & Visitor Info
Getting here is easy, with clear signage, a free parking area, and a bus stop nearby. You can reach Cala Domingos Petits from Club Tropicana or via stair access from Cala Murada. With a backdrop of hotels and residential developments, these twin beaches strike a balance between natural charm and resort convenience.
