Tranquil, Pine-Edged Charm in Cala d'Or
Also known as Caló des Corrals, Cala Esmeralda offers a striking contrast to some of its busier neighbours. Its name reflects the emerald-green hue of its water, lit by the Mediterranean sun. Though surrounded by resorts, the actual beach retains a natural, pine-shaded charm, with buildings set back just far enough to preserve a sense of unspoiled coastline.
Safe Waters and Easy Anchoring
This small sandy cove, fringed by low rocky edges, provides excellent conditions for anchoring boats. The seabed is mostly sandy, with patches of seaweed, and the depth ranges from 4 to 5 metres, making it both picturesque and practical for mooring.
Easy Access and Central Location
Cala Esmeralda is well-signposted and easily reached by car, with a free public parking area just nearby. Public transport is also convenient, with the nearest bus stop about 300 metres away. These factors, coupled with its scenic surroundings and facilities, make this beach popular but never overwhelming.
