A Virgin Cove of Rugged, Untamed Beauty

Cala Estremer is a deep u-shaped sea inlet, flanked by the dramatic cliffs of Punta de l’Àguila and Punta Galera. The surrounding terrain is wild and steep, and a cave within the cliff even opens into the sea. At the base of this ravine, a torrent flows into the Mediterranean, even in summer, carving a path to a small beach of pebbles, stones, and gravel, untouched by tourism or development.

Unsuitable for Boats – But Rewarding for the Bold

While the setting is stunning, anchoring boats here is not advised. The seabed is deep and rocky, with depths ranging from 3.5m to 10m, and strong northern winds make the area dangerous for mooring. The nearest facilities are far away, at Port de Pollença, nearly 17.5 nautical miles distant.

A Demanding Descent to Seclusion

Access to Cala Estremer is challenging and steep. After reaching Cala Sant Vicenç by car, visitors must navigate a difficult, winding path that follows the torrent down to the coast. For this reason, some prefer to arrive by small boat when conditions allow. Those who do make the effort are rewarded with a truly isolated, awe-inspiring landscape, far from the beaten track.
