Untouched Coastline in a Protected Natural Area

Nestled between Platja des Dolç and S’Arenal d’en Casat, Cala Serralot (also known as Es Serralot) is part of the Àrea Natural d'Especial Interès Dunes de Son Real, a protected stretch of over 1,100 hectares that includes dunes, pine forest, and wetlands. The beach itself is low-lying, rocky, and framed by dense pine woodland from the Pinar des Revellar.

This secluded stretch offers a chance to experience Mallorca as it once was—wild, peaceful, and unspoiled by development.

Shallow Waters & Tricky Anchoring

The marine conditions are not ideal for anchoring, especially when winds push in from the sea. Shallow depths and flagstone outcrops make it risky to approach by boat during rougher conditions. While technically allowed, anchoring is only advisable in calm weather and with careful navigation.

Short Walks, Rich Rewards

Although remote, Cala Serralot is easily reached on foot, and the surrounding area is rich in natural and historical interest. Just beyond the nearby Punta des Patró, you’ll find a prehistoric sanctuary, notable for having the only known Majorcan structure similar to Menorca’s taules, once used for ritual animal sacrifices.

This quiet cove rewards curious walkers, nature lovers, and those seeking a truly off-the-beaten-path beach experience.
