A Dramatic Cove Carved Between Cliffs

Tucked between steep cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, Caló des Moro is a stunningly picturesque virgin beach that has become one of the most photographed spots in the Santanyí area. Surrounded by pines, lentisc, and rocky outcrops, its white sands and aquamarine waters draw visitors seeking postcard-perfect scenery, though the beach itself is small and often packed—arriving early is essential.

Excellent for Diving and Anchoring

The clear waters and sandy seabed make Caló des Moro ideal for snorkelling and anchoring small boats, with depths between three and four metres close to shore. However, the beach is exposed to winds from the east and southeast, and occasional sea currents can dramatically reduce the size of the sandy solarium.

Steep Access Trail and Remote Charm

Access requires determination: park near sa Comuna and continue on foot for 400 metres down a narrow, rocky path. The trail is steep and rugged, but it rewards visitors with one of Mallorca’s most spectacular hidden coves. Despite the growing popularity, the beach maintains a quiet, natural charm, in part due to the challenging accessibility which deters heavy crowds.
