A Double Cove Framed by Cliffs

Tucked beneath the village of Bellavista, Calonet de s’Almadrava offers two small rocky beaches, each carved by a narrow sea inlet and separated by a rugged headland. With their u-shaped silhouettes and pebble-strewn surfaces, both coves are free of sand and retain a truly natural charm. The cliffs, rocks, and surrounding scrubland add to the secluded feel that defines this untouched coastline.

For the Adventurous Navigator

This section of Mallorca’s south coast is open to the elements, and anchoring is only recommended in calm weather. Boats with a shallow draught can approach the sandy patches offshore, but must beware of sudden swells and shifting winds. The nearest marina is Club Nàutic s’Arenal, making this a possible but weather-dependent anchorage for experienced sailors.

A Rugged Stretch of Untouched Beauty

Calonet de s’Almadrava lies along the iconic stretch of coastline between Cala Sant Antoni and sa Ràpita, known for its towering cliffs, hidden coves, and rocky landscapes shaped by wind, sea, and torrents. Nearby spots like Cales Blava, Cap Alt, and na Plana make this an ideal area for coastal hiking, photography, and discovering Mallorca’s lesser-known coves.
