Sheltered Cove with Dramatic Cliffs

Es Caló de ses Llises is a secluded, narrow inlet framed by 10-metre-high cliffs and dense pine forest and scrubland that almost touch the crystal-clear waters. The small beach is composed of gravel and pebbles, adding to its wild, natural beauty. With a few residential houses perched above, the cove retains its peaceful charm, rarely drawing large crowds.

In the middle of the inlet sits a large rock, often used by swimmers as a platform for diving or sunbathing.

Boating & Anchoring

This cove offers limited anchoring, best suited to small boats up to 5 metres long due to the restricted space and depth close to shore. Larger vessels can anchor about 300 metres offshore where the sandy and rocky seabed sits at depths of 3 to 4 metres. The nearby Club Nàutic Santa Ponça lies 2.5 nautical miles away.

Access & Popularity

Reaching Es Caló de ses Llises is straightforward. Follow signs towards Cala Fornells, where free parking is available under pine trees next to an apartment complex. From there, it’s just a short walk to this hidden spot. Its small size and tranquil setting make it a perfect escape for locals seeking peace and quiet away from the busier beaches.
