A Famous Stay in Valldemossa

Inside the Royal Carthusian Monastery, one of the former monastic cells has been transformed into the Frédéric Chopin & George Sand Museum, preserving the memory of the couple’s legendary winter in Valldemossa. In 1838, the Polish composer Chopin and the French writer George Sand arrived seeking health and inspiration.
