Pristine Setting & Dramatic Landscape
Na Clara takes its name from the crystal-clear waters that define this secluded, untouched cove. The beach is nestled beneath towering cliffs covered with pine trees, reaching up to S’Atalaia Freda (562 metres), the highest point of the Serres de Llevant, offering breathtaking panoramic views across Mallorca.
The shoreline consists of stones, pebbles, large boulders, and fine brilliant sand, forming a steep and wild landscape. Offshore, the sandy seabed extends for hundreds of metres, allowing swimmers to enjoy clear, shallow waters far out from the shore.
Boating & Anchoring
Anchoring is possible in suitable conditions, but navigators must maintain a safe distance from shore, particularly when winds blow from the west, northwest, north, northeast, or east. Depths range from 1.5 metres at 50 metres offshore to 3 metres at 150 metres. The nearest marina facilities are at Club Nàutic Colònia de Sant Pere, approximately 1.5 nautical miles away.
Access & Popularity
Access by car is relatively easy by following signs toward Es Caló, although the road quality deteriorates near the end. Free parking is available nearby, but the final 200-metre approach must be done on foot via a descending trail. Due to its steep access and remote location, Na Clara remains very quiet and lightly visited, offering a perfect escape for those seeking solitude in a virgin natural setting. The beach is not suitable for disabled access.
