A Calm Retreat with Creative Roots

Also known as Platja de Llenaire or Els Tamarells, this beach blends a gently regenerated shore with a tranquil setting that once inspired literary and artistic legends. Agatha Christie set part of her short story Problem at Pollensa Bay here, and the beach was once frequented by painter Anglada Camarassa. Despite the tourism and residential development, the peaceful spirit remains, enhanced by the line of pine trees along the bay and the gentle curve of the coast.

Calm Waters and Anchoring with Caution

Thanks to artificial regeneration and breakwater structures, the beach now has a wide sandy area. Though the depth only reaches about two metres near the coast, making anchoring tricky in windy conditions (particularly from the east or south), many sailing boats still choose to moor here in summer, taking advantage of the shelter offered by the bay.

A Family-Friendly Destination with Full Facilities

Accessible by both car and public transport, Platja del Port de Pollença is one of the area’s most family-oriented beaches, with a full suite of facilities, including showers, toilets, restaurants, diving, watersports, and boat trips. Free parking is available nearby, and the Blue Flag status guarantees quality and cleanliness.
