A Virgin Slice of Coastline
Platja d’es Pregons Grans is a tranquil, unspoilt beach with a pristine environment and no manmade development. Known for its fine white sand that stretches deep inland and crystal-clear waters, it offers a secluded atmosphere for those seeking a peaceful escape. Nudism is permitted, adding to the relaxed, natural vibe.
Anchoring & Nature
Anchoring is possible on the sandy seabed with a depth of around 5 metres, located about 250 metres offshore. The beach is sheltered from moderate winds but caution is advised if winds blow from the southwest, west, or northwest.
Behind the dunes, you’ll find pins barraquers (salt-tolerant pine trees) stabilising the landscape with their roots, along with remnants of bushland that was historically cleared due to the belief their wood resisted rot.
Remote Yet Rewarding
Platja d’es Pregons Grans is only accessible on foot, with a 600-metre walk from either Platja d’es Marquès or Es Trenc. This natural barrier helps preserve the beach’s serene atmosphere, keeping it less crowded even in high season.
