Interactive Sports Museum and Training Academy Founded by Rafa Nadal
A world-class destination for sports enthusiasts, the Rafa Nadal Museum & Academy in Manacor celebrates the achievements of the tennis legend while offering a unique mix of history, interactivity, and elite training. Whether you're a fan of Rafa Nadal or simply intrigued by sport, this modern complex is one of the region’s most engaging attractions.
Celebrating a Champion
The heart of the experience is the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience, showcasing the player's remarkable career through a vast collection of trophies, equipment, personal items, and audiovisual displays. It’s not just a tribute to tennis, but also to sportsmanship, discipline, and perseverance. Visitors can also view memorabilia from other international athletes, with contributions from figures such as Roger Federer, Michael Jordan, and Serena Williams.
A highlight for many is the range of interactive simulators, which allow you to experience the thrill of competing in tennis, rowing, Formula 1, and more — making it a popular stop for families and groups.
Elite Training Environment
Beyond the museum, the wider Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar offers a state-of-the-art training environment. Founded by Nadal himself in 2016, the academy welcomes aspiring athletes from around the world for residential programmes, tournaments, and adult camps. The facilities include tennis courts, padel courts, a fitness centre, swimming pools, and a sports clinic.
The academy also hosts the annual Rafa Nadal Open, a professional ATP Challenger Tour event, which is free for spectators and includes cultural activities and fan zones.
Visitor Experience
The museum is open year-round, with longer hours during the summer months. It’s fully accessible and includes a café, gift shop, and sports centre reception. Guided visits and group packages are available, and there is free on-site parking.
