A Calm & Scenic Stretch by Sa Ràpita
S'Arenal de sa Ràpita is a beautiful stretch of fine sand, forming part of the coastal area of the village of Sa Ràpita in Campos. Framed by a dune system and backed by pine woods, this beach offers natural tranquillity combined with excellent wind conditions that make it a favourite for surfers and windsurfers.
Historical Charm with the Tower of Son Durí
One of the area’s unique landmarks is the defence tower Son Durí, built in the 16th century to guard against Saracen pirate attacks. Today, the well-preserved tower belongs to Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita and adds a historic touch to this picturesque setting.
Anchoring & Sea Conditions
Boaters will find good anchoring conditions on the east and southeast side of the club entrance, where the sandy seabed lies at a depth of approximately four metres. However, caution is advised if winds are blowing from the southeast, south or southwest.
Access & Amenities
The beach is easily accessible by car, although free parking is limited; paid parking is available for around three euros a day. A bus stop is located approximately 200 metres from the beach. The area is well-equipped with facilities, making it an attractive destination for both locals and tourists seeking a peaceful day by the sea.
