Ses Rotes – Horses & Wine
A unique blend of rural charm, fine wine, and equestrian passion, Ses Rotes offers visitors an authentic taste of countryside Mallorca — with vineyard views, horse trails, and a welcoming community spirit just outside Esporles.
A Revived Estate with Heart
Set on a 250-year-old finca nestled in the hills of the Serra de Tramuntana, Ses Rotes has been lovingly restored by its current owners into a vibrant hub for organic wine production, horse breeding, and immersive outdoor experiences. The estate spans 100 acres, including 6 hectares of vines, olive groves, and purpose-built equestrian facilities. Whether you come for a tasting, a ride through the hills, or a traditional Mallorcan lunch during harvest season, you’ll be welcomed like part of the family.
Wine with a Personal Touch
The vineyards at Ses Rotes produce small-batch organic wines crafted under the guidance of local winemaker Andreu Oliver Tril. Visitors can taste crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a delicate Callet-Pinot Noir rosé, full-bodied red blends, and even a distinctive orange wine. Tasting events are relaxed and engaging, often paired with seasonal food and held in the shade of the estate’s ancient trees. Wine lovers can also join the Ses Rotes Wine Community, which invites members to take part in vineyard life — from pruning and harvesting to paella lunches and celebratory bottlings.
Horses, Trails & Rural Escape
Alongside the vineyard, Ses Rotes boasts a professional equestrian centre, complete with indoor and outdoor arenas, stables, and training spaces. Visitors can arrange guided horseback rides through the estate’s scenic trails or simply enjoy watching the horses graze in the paddocks. Events, workshops, and exhibitions are often held in the estate’s flexible spaces, making it more than just a winery — it’s a living, evolving country retreat that reflects the best of Mallorca’s rural spirit.
