Bombs in Palma

Following a call allegedly from ETA, three bombs have exploded in Palma - two in bar-restaurants by the beach Can Pere Antoni, and one in the Plaça Mayor. There are no reports of injuries. The chief prosecutor in the Balearics believes that these are indicative of a likely ETA cell existing on Majorca. The bombs have caused little disruption. Unlike in the aftermath of the Palmanova bomb, there has been no lockdown or airport closure.
